Description
On the first day, you will arrive in Srinagar. Once you arrive, you will proceed towards Sonmarg, which is approximately 80 kilometers away from Srinagar. Sonmarg is a beautiful hill station known for its breathtaking landscapes and meadows. You can spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Sonmarg, take a stroll around the meadows, and enjoy the serene environment. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.
This day is dedicated to visiting the holy Amarnath Cave. From Sonmarg, you will proceed to Baltal, which is the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. From Baltal, you will board a helicopter to reach the Amarnath Cave. The helicopter ride will provide you with aerial views of the beautiful Himalayan landscape. After reaching the cave, you can seek blessings and have a darshan (viewing) of the ice lingam, which is considered sacred by devotees. After the darshan, you will return to Sonmarg. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.
On day 3, you will leave Sonmarg and head back to Srinagar. Once you reach Srinagar, you can explore the city and visit popular attractions such as Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Shankaracharya Temple, and the Old City. You can also indulge in a shikara ride on Dal Lake and experience the vibrant local culture and cuisine. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
On the final day of your trip, you will be dropped off at the designated location in Srinagar. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to explore more of Srinagar before bidding farewell to this beautiful region.
